One backend to manage the business from start to finish

For many businesses doing online sales, the biggest headache isn't a lack of customers—it's that the tools are too scattered: products live in one place, payments go through another platform, and orders and inventory have to be manually reconciled. When a customer places an order, finance, warehouse, and customer service each check their own records, and when something goes wrong, no one can explain it clearly. The store module in KingCMS X1 puts product display, inventory, online payments, order fulfillment, and refunds into the same backend. Business owners can open one place and see how well products are selling, whether payments have been received, and where each order stands.

Product listing and inventory—no more double bookkeeping

Products are created in the backend, with specifications, prices, and inventory entered together. Different specifications can have separate inventory, and if there are multiple warehouses, inventory can be tracked separately by warehouse. How much has been sold, how much remains, and how much is reserved by orders are all calculated directly in the backend—no more matching spreadsheets. For example: a company selling office furniture has the same chair in different colors and materials. Previously, sales and the warehouse each kept their own count, and it often happened that a customer placed an order only to find out the item was out of stock. Now the available quantity is clear at a glance, so you can tell whether you can fulfill an order before accepting it.

Online payments—customers can pay by scanning a code

The store supports integration with multiple online payment channels. Customers choose a method on the payment page, scan a code or are redirected to the channel's secure payment page to complete payment, and once the channel confirms receipt, the order automatically becomes paid. The backend only shows channels that are fully configured and support the current order currency, so customers won't click a button and find they can't pay. For businesses doing cross-border sales, this is very practical: customers in different markets have different habits and different available payment methods, and the backend automatically matches them by currency, eliminating manual judgment.

Orders, shipping, and refunds—all in one flow

Once an order comes in, its status is clear: pending payment, paid, fulfilling, completed, with corresponding statuses for refunds. The backend lets you filter by status, search by order number, and even combine multiple orders into a picking list. The warehouse can pick items summarized by location, saving unnecessary trips. After the customer pays, shipping is confirmed; after the customer receives the goods, completion is confirmed—the process doesn't rely on verbal communication. When a refund is needed, it can be initiated in the order details as an original-route refund, and the system records how much has been refunded and how much remains refundable. For bank transfer orders, the backend verifies the receipt and confirms payment, which is also recorded in the financial books.

Don't panic when something goes wrong

Online payments inevitably encounter special situations, such as a customer paying after an order has been canceled due to timeout. The system will not change a canceled order back to paid; instead, it lists such cases in a payment to-do list, reminding staff to refund via the original route in the channel's backend and mark them as handled. Successful payments for new orders and successful refunds can also be pushed to mobile phones, so business owners know immediately even when away from the computer. These designs aren't about showing off technology—they're about making sure businesses know who to contact and what to do when problems arise, so they don't end up losing both money and goods.
